It’s Raining Reward & Recognition

Although it was raining outside, it was raining rewards and recognition inside at the Awards Breakfast for Dayton, Cincinnati, Louisville, and the Central Support Office.

A huge congratulations to Pat Rini for being named Partner Emeritus! Pat has exemplified our culture since the beginning and leaves behind a lasting legacy that won’t soon be forgotten. Congrats again, Pat. Enjoy retirement!

The celebration continued with Accounting Assistant Wendy Taylor being named Partner. For the past 8 years, Wendy has come to work with an infectious positive attitude, always wearing a smile even in the most stressful of times. Keep making the impossible, possible, Wendy! The honor is well-deserved!

The Partnerships didn’t stop there, with Customer Service Representative April Ballard and Assistant Manager Danielle Shumaker both earning promotions to RBS Partner. Both have played an integral role in the success of RBS and are always Relentlessly Pursuing Excellence. Congratulations April and Danielle!

Promotions were also doled out with Tommy Genna being promoted to Senior Sales Associate in the Dayton market and Kyle Arend and Nikki Conley moving up to Senior Field Recruiters at the Central Support Office. Keep Doing the Right Thing!

VP of Investor Relations Greg Roberto was the proud recipient of the “Desperation Award” for his failed attempt to nominate himself for the “Fireman” Award. As for why he should win the “Fireman” Award he said, “Make up a reason about why I’m so great.” Well, his desperation paid off and he is now the proud owner of a plastic fireman’s hat!

Big winners in Louisville included tech Mike Lanning who took home the Master Productivity Turn Award, keeping his cost per turn just under $84. Highland Station also took home the prize for Outstanding Property – Google Rating for improving their Google review score by half a point in less than 6 months! Congratulations to Mike and the entire Highland Station team!

In the Dayton and Cincinnati markets, Sales Associates Tommy Genna and Shereen Saleh brought down the house! In addition to his promotion to Senior Sales, Tommy took home the “Fireman” Award for helping out across markets at six different properties. Tommy has been a go-to guy and has a bright future at The Connor Group. Congrats, Tommy! Shereen Saleh came away with a serious hardware haul, bringing home three awards including Top Salesperson. She also was instrumental in securing a $4.4 million supplemental at Austin Springs as well as helping Austin Springs bring home the prestigious NOI Award. Congratulations, Shereen! Stay Relentless!

For the Central Support Office, the award for Top CSO Rookie went to VP of Acquisitions and Dispositions, Jason Leonard. Jason has made a tremendous impact in his short time here at The Connor Group, securing acquisitions in seven markets in his first six months. Keep up the good work, Jason!

A new award, the NOI Assist Award, was given to Director of SEO and Digital Analytics, Andrew “The Rainmaker” Grosvenor. Over the last six months, Andrew has revolutionized how we market our properties on the web, focusing on not only driving traffic but driving quality traffic. This new approach has been key in helping our properties meet and exceed their NOI goals. Keep making it rain, Andrew!
