Mission complete

Area manager Payton Stone loves to create nicknames. So, while all the cool kids were using the word ”lit,” he borrowed the phrase to rename his market, calling Charlotte, ”CharLIT.” His philosophy seems to be working. Case and point: the recent $57 million sale of Quarterside.

Payton marked his first sale with The Connor Group and received recognition from regional head Sal Gracia.

“Payton you’ve always exuded the right leadership presence, brought a can-do attitude and people want to follow you into the fire,” Sal said. “Without your leadership in Charlotte (or as you say ‘CharLIT’), the market wouldn’t be where it’s at. … I’m so proud of you.”

But back to Payton’s nicknames. He dubbed Quarterside “strongside” because of our people.

Senior lead tech Ben Leonhardt led the company with a $11.09 cost per a turn year to date in August. Meanwhile on grounds, Carilius Reece showed true ownership in physical facility – even spending time with potential hires during days in the field to make sure they were a cultural fit.

Senior sales associate Alex Giles moved to Charlotte in December of 2020 with one mission in mind, selling Quarterside. His stats proved his determination, never missing an approved rental goal. Alex and sales associate Kelly McDonough closed at an average of 28 percent throughout 2021 and brought the economic occupancy to 98 percent.

Each associate flexed their muscles, performed an elite level to prove Quarterside was in fact ”strongside.” The team celebrated with a flight to the Central Support Office, a red carpet entrance, and dinner at Boca in Cincinnati.

Congratulation to our Charlotte team and the dispositions team on another successful close.
