There’s a little-known program that can go a long way to helping you when you need it most – The Employee Assistance program. The Connor Group’s Employee Assistance Program is operated through Mutual of Omaha and is available to all associates and eligible family members.
“Everybody at some point in their lives experiences stress, family relationship difficulties, financial or even legal hardships,” Partner and Senior Payroll and Benefits Administrator Wendy Green said. “It’s important to talk to someone about these issues who do not have a vested interest in your own health.”
Here’s what The Employee Assistance Plan offers:
- A 24/7 hotline you can call and speak with a certified counselor
- 3 free face-to-face counseling sessions per household per year
- Referral to a counselor within your Anthem Medical Benefits plan
- Legal assistance and financial services
“I’ve been to a counselor for legal-and stress-related matters,” Wendy explained. “These professionals are wonderful at providing you the tools you need to manage stress, or manage any situation you may be going through.”
From the loss of a loved one to empty nesters to caregivers – these professionals can help you navigate any rough times you may be experiencing personally or professionally.
