The new Loop app is here and it’s faster, smarter and built to last. The new version of Loop was brought to life by a cross-department team determined to do it right. It was designed from the ground up to make your day easier.
If you don’t have the new app yet, here are the steps to get you started.
- If you don’t want to wait, search “Connor Group Loop” in your phone’s app store and tap “Update.”
- If you are still seeing the green Loop logo, open your app store and update your current version. The update may take up to 24 hours to appear.
- Use your Connor Group email to log in. Personal accounts won’t work. When prompted, tap Sign In and enter your Outlook password. This is the same password as your email log in.
- Once logged in, update your name, phone, and bio, and turn on push notifications.
- Need help? Call Help Desk or Tech Ops. They are the RI for download, login, or navigation issues.
How We Got Here
This upgrade started with your feedback. Last fall’s Loop Improvement survey made one thing clear: the old app wasn’t keeping up with what associates needed.
Vice President of Communications Chris Riva took that feedback to Larry, who gave clear direction: if we’re going to upgrade Loop, we need to do it right.
Chris, and partner and creative director Aaron Helfferich, have led the project from the start. They also brought in partner and senior Tech Ops engineer Dustin Tritle and senior client services advisor Casey Petrae.
Dustin has been working behind the scenes with our developers, supplying the data and backend support needed to make sure the transition is smooth. It’s the kind of work most people never see, but it’s critical to delivering the new Loop experience.
Casey helped connect The Connor Group with our new app developer, Black Airplane, based out of Atlanta.
“From the beginning, Black Airplane has acted like a long-term teammate. Bringing us ideas, not just reacting to problems,” Aaron said.
Their designers even incorporated design elements from Apple’s newest iOS update and worked them into Loop’s new look and feel.
“I’d say we’re on the cutting edge of design,” Aaron said.
In addition to the new, modern look, the new Loop is easier to navigate, and there are exciting upgrades, such as:
- Messages – hear directly from leaders and celebrate wins in real time
- Updated Directories – one for associates and one for properties. The associate directory has been completely redesigned, and you can find details about all the properties in our portfolio.
- ConnorTV – videos are right on the homepage. No more digging through tabs.
Since Loop first launched six years ago, The Connor Group has grown, and so has our content.
“The old app just doesn’t make it easy to access all that content,” Aaron said. “The new version makes it easier for you to get what you need.”
Share Your Feedback
The new Loop is designed to evolve. We’ll keep improving based on your feedback.
At the bottom of the homepage, you’ll find the Share Your Thoughts section. Use it to tell us what’s working well and what we can improve. Your message goes directly to the Communications team.
“It’s always a sprint to get these things finished, but once they’re done, they’re never finished,” Aaron said. “When we get feedback, whether good or bad, we’ll learn from it and improve it. I’m excited for people to start using it and tell us what they enjoy or what we can do.”
And, at the end of the day, it all comes back to our people.
“Loop is a tool to bring us together,” Chris said. “We will use it to communicate better, celebrate wins, and stay connected to the culture that drives our success.”
