The countdown is almost over. On June 1st, the gates fly open and the race begins. Win the Week: Triple Crown kicks off on Sunday, and all 51 properties are preparing for the first leg. Over the next three months, we’ll run three high-stakes races: The Connor Derby in June, The Connor Stakes in July and The Connor Cup in August. Each monthly race will have a winner. Win all three? You take home The Connor Crown.
Meet the Horses
Every property was assigned a horse. The name? That was up to you. We handed the full list of names to partners and senior vice presidents Kristen Rutledge and Sal Gracia. Watch the video to see which names had them laughing and which horses they think will end up leading the pack.
Kristen and Sal aren’t the only ones placing their bets. View the full list of horses by SMT and see who’s lined up for the summer sprint.

Rules to Remember
In the Triple Crown, there are no head-to-head matchups. No lucky draws. Every property is your competition, and every week is a test. The key is getting transactions at the right rates. That’s been the standard throughout the entire Win the Week competition, and it’s still true here.
Throughout our three Triple Crown races, the bottom 12 properties will get cut each week. By the final week of each race, only 15 properties will remain. If you want the crown, you’ll need more than a strong start. You’ll need relentless performance, every day.

Each week matters, but races are won by the total points you earn over the entire month.

What’s at Stake?
The top three properties for each monthly race will win a prize.
- 1st = Win
- $300 R&R for each placed associate at the property
- 2nd = Place
- $200 R&R for each placed associate at the property
- 3rd = Show
- $100 R&R for each placed associate at the property
- $100 R&R for each placed associate at the property
Any property that sweeps all three races earns The Connor Crown and the major prize that goes along with it. Kristen and Sal will come to the property, take the whole team to a dinner of their choice, and there will be an R&R prize waiting for them.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by the highest rent roll per unit average.
The gate drops Sunday, and from that moment on, every decision counts. With cuts each week and a crown on the line, success won’t come from one big push. This isn’t just about competition. It’s about putting your property and the company in the best position to win long term. When you perform well here, it’s a win for your team and for all of us.
Stay locked in. Rally your team. This is your shot to own the summer.
