The Denver market has lost a beloved friend and colleague, Joe Teague.
Joe died in a motorcycle crash late Wednesday night. He never made it to the Denver Awards Breakfast Thursday. He was to be honored with the Master Productivity Award, Tech Incentive Award, and Top Unit Turnover Award. He also was going to receive an NOI Award with The Gardens at Cherry Creek team.
Joe joined The Connor Group in December of 2018 as a Turn Tech, and in his last 8 months with the company, he left an impact none of us will soon forget.

“Joe was the kind of guy who would do whatever was needed, 100% of the time,” Regional Head Brad Dykes said. “He volunteered to go to Chicago for a week to help us get turns done at Glenmuir to meet our needs for a supplemental. He also would split time between The Gardens at Cherry Creek and Terracina.”
Whatever the goal was – Joe made sure we hit it.
Joe had a unique personality and loved listening to talk radio while completing turns.
“Joe was a staunch Republican and loved listening to Rush Limbaugh,” Partner and Regional Service Trainer Mike Sumner said. “He loved a good political conversation, and always did it in a nice way even if your view was completely opposite of his.”
Associates considered Joe to be a ‘father figure’ and someone they could turn to. He was loved by all on property, and truly cared about everyone.
“Joe was never late, always reliable, and always asked questions,” Mike said. “He was always willing to learn and completely bought-in to The Connor Group’s career path for him. Denver is a better market because of Joe.”
Joe leaves behind a wife, Lisa, and many other family members and friends who loved him. Our hearts are with his family during this difficult time.
