In a busy leasing office, there’s a flow of energy fueled by our associates. At Cross Creek in Nashville, sales associate Karlee Holcomb brings a big personality to the room when firing up her team or meeting new prospects and residents. You name the time and the place, and she’s ready to roll.
Cross Creek crushed it in 2021, with the highest average re-rent YTD of $202. With Karlee’s continued efforts, she earned the top spot in December’s Sales Honor Roll. She accomplished the following last month:
- Exceeded renewal goal with 13 on a goal of 11
- Hit approved rentals 3 for 3
- Exceeded her traffic goals with 57 on a goal of 48

Karlee joined The Connor Group in October and quickly realized her keys to success were following our systems and processes.
“She’s relentless on her renewal books and phones or emails leads,” said property manager Ashley Matos. “For me, it’s also encouraging to see if an associate puts their mind to it and follows the systems. It really does work.”
Karlee faced challenges early on, but nothing has slowed her down.
“She’s had failures, but she has the ability to take direct feedback and apply it to what she’s learned,” Ashley said. “On a bad day, Karlee comes in to prove everyone wrong.”
Call it a bounce-back attitude. Karlee is stirring the pot in Nashville with her skills, and it’s creating a healthy competition between properties and sales associates.
Also in the top three on the Sales Honor Roll are sales associates Gracie Sebastian from Bayside Arbors and Alex Chavarria from Barton Creek.
Gracie and Alex relate to residents and build long-term relationships by doing one simple thing – just being themselves. Austin and Tampa property managers spoke highly of their success.
“Gracie started in July, and within six months, she’s made tremendous progress,” said manager Lili Le. “You can’t teach personality and how to connect with people. She’s an 8.5 on customer service.”
In Austin, Alex uses the same elite performance to propel her team forward.
“Alex has mastered being a relator and a team player, which are key components for a successful sales associate,” manager Lisa Kaehler said. “She is a powerhouse sales associate and has a bright career.”
