A numbers game

It’s no secret we are in the midst of a record-setting summer when it comes to traffic at our properties. With the introduction of a redesigned connorgroup.com, we’re also reaching new heights in regards to website traffic.

Loop recently took a look back at the path that brought us to a record-setting summer.

Google data suggests we are outpacing the market trends in regard to website traffic and lead volume. For instance, the industry on average is saw a 4% decrease in leads from June to July while we saw an 11% increase.

Take a look at the graphic below to see just how much website traffic has gone up over the past two years.

As you can see, we’ve already surpassed the record of 1.3 million visitors set just last year. Even with a potential decrease in traffic volume factored in for the winter months, we’re on pace to reach 1.9 million visitors before the end of the year.

How does this translate to actual traffic at the properties?

As you might have guessed, in-person traffic has seen a dramatic increase as well. In fact, more people have already stepped foot in a Connor Group property in 2021 than they did in all of 2020!

Getting people from the website to the property is only part of the battle though. It takes our talented managers and sales associates – who continue to play a critical role in driving foot traffic – to close the deal on an approved rental before we can call it a success. Thanks to their efforts, approved rentals are outpacing the increased traffic numbers.

As you’ll see in the chart below, approved rentals across the entire company are up 104% from 2019. While efforts have stepped up company wide, we even highlighted 5 properties that are doing the most with the traffic they’re getting.

These numbers don’t happen without the relentless mindset of our associates. Record traffic or not, taking every opportunity to achieve an approved rental as we head out of the summer will set us up for success through the remainder of the year.
