Cincinnati’s finest

Executing our systems, meeting and exceeding goals and doing it all at a high level is challenging at The Connor Group. If you look at our Cincinnati market, manager Tiffany Montoya is doing this all at not just one but two Connor Group properties – and she’s knocking it out of the park.

“Tiffany amazes me. She’s three years in now. When she started, she had this ‘whatever it takes’ attitude,” partner and regional head Sal Gracia said. “She has shown tremendous growth and development.”

Tiffany started with The Connor Group in December 2018, first working at Hunters Chase in Dayton and jumping up to Columbus before landing in Cincinnati. She was assigned to manage The Drexel at Oakley when we bought it in January 2020 and hit the ground running.

“When she took over Drexel, it was her time to shine, and she did nothing short of that,” partner and Sr. regional manager and sales trainer Jennie Juran said. “She’s an operator. I can throw anything her way, and she’ll get the job done.”

Lead tech Isaak Claudio has worked side-by-side with Tiffany both at The Drexel and now at Arbors of Anderson. And during that time, they’ve built an incredibly strong working relationship.

“She’s the juggernaut,” Isaak said. “I’ll go anywhere in Cincinnati as long as we’re going together. There’s nothing that will stop us.”

Whether it’s jumping in to help in an emergency or just helping organize the day for our service techs, Tiffany finds ways to build culture and a team mentality wherever she goes.

“If you look back three or four years ago, it felt like it was maintenance vs. office staff. With Tiffany, we turned that around and have brought back the team element,” Isaak said. “We rely on each other.”

Over the last 30 days, Tiffany has been managing Drexel and Arbors of Anderson in Cincinnati. She’s driving rates, managing CapEx projects, and learning to be effective with her time. In December, she helped deliver the following results at Arbors:

  • Exceeded revenue target by $16,564
  • $6,205 rent roll growth
  • Hit approved rental goal
  • Met renewal goal
  • Exceeded Google review goal
  • Under budget on Repair and Maintenance

At The Drexel, she had a successful December as well, exceeding traffic and approved rental goals. In addition to running two properties, you’ll also find Tiffany spending time training our associates, including new SMTs Cody Shank and Colin McDonnell.

“She’s willing to do anything. She’s a great leader people like working for her,” Jennie added. “She’s doing all the right things.”
