We are one month into the Connor Olympics and the competition is off to a strong start with eight properties earning gold medals and 22 earning silver medals in July.
Much like an Olympic athlete needs to get in the right mindset before an event, so do our associates. At 1660 Peachtree, it starts with an early wake-up call.
“We’re up early, 5 a.m. workouts. We’re strength training. We’re conditioning. We’re role-playing first thing in the morning,” said operations manager Veronica Maddox. “We’re getting our minds set every morning. It’s like a pep rally in here.”
The early start and mindset shift led to exceptional results in July. 1660 Peachtree, and seven other properties, earned gold medals in July for the Connor Olympics.
Managers, sales associates and techs at all 51 properties contribute to the medal count by hitting their objectives with renewals, approved rentals and customer service.

The Connor Olympics run through the end of the year, with goals resetting each month. That means all properties have a chance to earn gold. When teams earn medals, it allows properties to come out of 2024 in the right position.
