Decked out in white

For the last several weeks, the 21-foot-tall CSO Christmas tree has been shining brightly in the atrium for all to enjoy. And this year, it’s taken on a slightly different look. The multi-colored lights have been swapped with bright white bulbs. The inspiration came from a nearby golf course’s holiday display.

“If you didn’t know any better, you’d think we built that window specifically for that tree,” Larry said. “It’s the perfect size and it makes the building look great at night. We get compliments on it every year.”

This year – 90 different sets of white lights are wrapped around the tree, for a total of 18,000 lights. It took our vendor 18 man-hours to assemble.

“It’s quite the project,” partner Rodney Johnson explained. “Our vendor had six guys working to assemble the tree and complete our outdoor light display as well.”

The number one question we get is, “how in the world do you get that in the building?” Well, we thought it would be fun to film the process and share a short video! Check out the tree assembly process, captured in a time-lapse video created by partner Aaron Helfferich. SEO specialist Ross Johnson snagged the final shot with his drone outside the CSO this month, providing a bird’s-eye view of the finished product.
