In her first two years at The Connor Group, Caiti Kopp closed $430 million in transactional volume. She led us to successfully complete the second-largest property sale in company history. And over the last three months, she led the operations side of the business for 733 units across three properties.
“That’s rarified air,” said partner and regional head Brad Dykes. “She’s also one of the first managers we had move above an 8.0 on our scorecards.”
The evidence speaks for itself. Caiti’s proven she understands and can operate our systems and processes, especially when the pressure is on. That hard work earned Caiti her first Connor Group promotion to senior manager in March.
“This job is tough,” Caiti said with a smile from her desk at Alas Over Lowry.
While Caiti is a standout knowledgeable and believable resource in the Denver market, she wasn’t sure if she was ready for the next step in her manager career. She pointed to the manager career path in the front of her planner as the tool that helped her advance.

“The new career paths are great. I realized I actually could do the next level and was already doing the next level. I was pretty excited about that,” Caiti said. “Really, the career path rolling out ultimately led to the conversation. Because on my own, I don’t think I would have realized I was ready for the senior manager role.”
Caiti’s been raising her hand to help train and develop new managers in the Denver market. She also stepped up in a big way during partner Jessica Clark’s maternity leave, keeping operations running at Gardens, Alas and Outlook DTC.
“Her stats mastery of her business is better than I’ve ever seen,” Brad said. “At her property’s monthly meetings, her team references trends and year-to-date stat sheets. That doesn’t happen by osmosis; it comes by pouring her heart and soul into the business.”
Caiti credits her own training as the reason she’s thriving at The Connor Group. When she first arrived at Terracina, she rolled up her sleeves and had her first taste of executing the systems.

“There was no room for going backward. I had to get the property organized. (Partner and senior regional manager and sales trainer) Jen Moreno and (auditor) Scott Daigle came out and helped us out,” Caiti said. “They helped ensure we had the systems in place, and they were non-negotiable.
“Selling Terracina was a huge catalyst towards my senior manager role. We had to manage a large fire project. So I had to manage the vendor team, our team, and a brand new sales manager, as well as increase the income and customer service. Doing all four of those things at once pushed us over the finish line.”
Anyone who’s worked closely with Caiti knows she doesn’t take herself too seriously, making the job fun. There’s no task she won’t tackle. Earlier this week, Caiti helped a resident chase down three guinea pigs in the Alas leasing office, taking no shortcuts on the path to delivering excellent customer service. Simply put, Caiti leads from the front.

“She does such a good job of getting her team bought into the objectives. She gets everyone moving in one direction,” Brad said.
Now as one of our staples in Denver, she looks forward to driving our culture alongside her team and partner and regional head Kristen Rutledge.
“Our culture always pushes you,” Caiti said. “And it’s a beautiful thing.”
