Over breakfast in Frisco, Traci Quetano expected to talk with her mentor Bob Lloyd about selling Firestone West 7th and her upcoming move to Minneapolis. But their Saturday morning meeting took a turn. Traci never saw it coming.
“Bob asked me how I felt about moving to Miami,” Traci said. “It took me by complete surprise.”
In the moments that followed, Bob explained what a market founder is at The Connor Group, why they are critical to building culture and establishing processes and systems in a new city. By the end of their meal, Traci was All In, ready to pack up her bags and move to Florida.
“I was honored, and I got a little emotional,” Traci added.
Traci is one of three market founders ready to open Grand Riviera Miramar on December 8th. Sales associate Amber Parker of Dallas and Sammy Howard from Cincinnati also raised their hands and are moving to Florida in the next 30 days. Together, under the leadership of partner and regional head Sal Gracia, our new market founders are ready to hit the ground running in Ft. Lauderdale.
“It’s amazing that we have people with so much talent and are willing to move for such a unique and amazing opportunity,” Sal said. “What’s great about our company now is it doesn’t matter where you work; we’re all aligned and are one team.”
Sammy first heard about the market founder opportunity at the Cincinnati Roadshow. She moved to Cincinnati from Georgia last November to start her Connor Group career. Now she’s excited about this next chapter.
“When Bob started talking about market founders at the Cincinnati Roadshow and building culture, it sounded awesome,” Sammy said. “I immediately wanted to sign up. I’d move anywhere for this company.”
Amber started with The Connor Group in November 2021. She’s been a key part of our success at Allura and looks forward to seeing how becoming a market founder advances her both personally and professionally.
“I love working for The Connor Group because the core values have helped me structure my life with what’s most important,” Amber said. “An opportunity like this will broaden my horizons. I’m excited to embark on a new journey.”
This new team is already excited about what’s ahead once we close on the new acquisition and the elite culture they’ll build.
“We’re all picking up our lives and moving across the country,” Traci said. “We’re 100 percent All In.”
