Each month, teams and associates can see where they rank with our monthly honor rolls or earn special recognition for their efforts to learn and grow with our bootcamp MVP awards. See who took home bragging rights in November with the accolades below.
November Property Honor Roll
Finding their way to the top spot of the Property Honor Roll again, Somerset at Deerfield posted an NOI year-to-date of $173,138. That’s $56,086 more than the next closest property, City Walk at Woodbury. Just as impressive, Somerset didn’t only dominate November; they’ve been in the top four on every Property Honor Roll in 2023. Back in June, partner and senior director Tiffany Montoya revealed their not-so-secret to success.
“It starts with the right people. Everyone at Somerset drives results. We got the right plan in place; we work our systems and processes the right way, and honestly, the people are the best part of Somerset.”
On the economic occupancy side of the honor roll, Cross Creek at Murfreesboro has maintained similar success. You would have to go all the way back to the January 2023 flyer to not find them at 94% or higher. That consistency is spearheaded by general manager Nicole Turk, whose focus and drive were perfectly captured back in October when asked about Cross Creek’s success in a contest.
“I’m not actually about the smack talk. At Cross Creek, we are all about getting the job done and raising the bar.”

November Manager Honor Roll
The comeback story of the year might belong to the Minnesota market, and one of the key players in that movement earned the top spot on the November Manager Honor Roll. For the second month in a row, partner and senior director Michelle Murphy found her name at the top of the list after City Walk hit their renewals, approved rental, traffic and google goals while also going $117,052 above NOI. Turning City Walk around has been Michelle’s main focus in 2023 and its her unique skillset that has helped her right the ship.
“I would first and foremost describe Michelle as a culture icon,” said partner and senior vice president Brad Dykes. “She possesses a unique ability to simultaneously inspire and motivate a team and hold them highly accountable.”

November Bootcamp MVPs
Every month we highlight associates who took an active approach to their training with the Bootcamp MVP awards. These associates standout from the rest of their class by being proactive and even helping others learn. Below are November’s Bootcamp MVPs.
Donnie Ritzman, San Antonio

Current role: Lead tech
Current property: Cypress at Stone Oak
Bootcamp attended: Developing Service
Why he won: “Donnie gained the most knowledge from this class,” said partner and senior regional service trainer Carl Williams. “He was very interactive and had great questions to further his knowledge. He was also the first to pick up a screwdriver and multimeter to troubleshoot during our hands on training.”
Barrett Prochaska, Charlotte

Current role: Manager in training
Current property: Greenway at Mallard Creek
Bootcamp attended: New Manager
Why he won: “Barrett was a coach in the room,” said regional manager and sales trainer Ashley Matos. “He was able to deliver feedback in a positive and constructive way and was always looking at how he could make the team better. Barrett is very cultural; he is a fast learner and applies feedback that is given to him immediately. Even though he was three weeks ahead of the others in bootcamp, he had patience and took the time to teach the others and make sure that they understood the material that we were discussing. Barrett has sales ability and will be an impactful leader with his great attitude!”
