‘Our work has purpose.’

Our culture book notes, ‘Leadership isn’t a title; it’s an action.’ Partner and Chief of Staff Krista Henehan embodies this principle. This week, the Dayton Business Journal recognized her as a 40 Under 40 winner.

“It is certainly an honor,” Krista said. “But one I was not expecting.”

For the last 27 years, the Dayton Business Journal has recognized local leaders who have distinguished themselves in their company, community, and industry before their 40th birthday. Krista joins partner and director of Kids & Community Ryan Ernst (2018), partner and CIO Brock Wright (2021), and partner and Greater Dayton School founding principal A.J. Stich (2022) as 40 Under 40 winners.

“We do amazing work not just at The Connor Group but also in the community. Our work has a purpose, and I love that I have a front-row seat to it all. Winning this recognizes what we do every day. It makes all of the hard work worth it,” Krista added.

Krista joined the LSC Department in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2021.

Partner and director of executive projects Keri Stafford has worked with Krista in the LSC Department for six years. “I remember during her first six months, she didn’t come up for air,” Keri said. “She immersed herself in the company culture and caught on quickly. She is relentless in everything she does.”

Keri noted Krista’s positive, can-do attitude with every initiative, focusing on the solution and getting things done.

“Day in and day out. She leads from the front. If she is involved, then a solution will be found and accountability will be held.”
