One trait Connor Group associates have in common is our hunger for success. No matter the last time we felt it, we are always starving for more. For our teams in the field, one of the ways to satisfy that hunger is to re-engineer their property. Check out the three properties below that put their money where their mouth is and successfully celebrated re-engineering.
First to the table
Our first helping of acknowledgment comes out of Indianapolis, where The Coil team celebrated an impressive 10-month re-engineer.
“In order to achieve our long-term strategic objectives, a number of key ground-breaking strategies need to occur,” said founding partner Larry Connor. “One of them is the ability to re-engineer a property in 12 months or less. I’d like to applaud and recognize the team at The Coil for re-engineering their property in 10 months! Huge effort and success!”
The team at The Coil set up a $5 million supplemental by hitting $419k in total revenue in September.
Congratulations to the team at The Coil, under the leadership of partner and SMT Sal Gracia:
- Aaron Wycoff, general manager
- Courtney Vecheck, general manager
- Madi Gordon, sales associate
- Adam Hutchinson, lead tech
- Carlos Aleman, lead tech

Freaky Fast Feast
Jimmy Johns might claim to be ‘freaky fast’, but the team at Sycamore Ridge said, ‘hold my Loop appropriate beverage,’ and completed the fastest re-engineer to date. The Sycamore team hit their 12-month $545k revenue target goal in just seven months.
According to general manager Joe Stephens, the secret to their success is the cooks in the kitchen.
“This team wants to be the best, but the guys also know how to keep a positive mindset even during tough times,” said Joe. “I’m lucky to work with this group; they turn ‘having to work’ into ‘getting to work.’”
Along with the re-engineer, the Sycamore team cooked up:
- More than doubled monthly other income from prior owner ($71k vs $32k)
- Increased rent roll by nearly $70k
- brought NOI up 75% from the prior owner
Congrats to the team at Sycamore Ridge under the leadership of Sal:
- Joe Stephens, general manager
- Devin Jones, sales lead
- Jon Coontz, partner and lead tech
- Noah Gordon, turn tech

Going for Seconds
Sometimes a meal is so good you have to go back for seconds. The same can be said about Somerset at Deerfield. The Connor Group purchased the property for the second time in October 2022. That’s when Loop interviewed partner and senior director Tiffany Montoya about the new acquisition, and Tiffany called her shot after partner and senior vice president of acquisitions Brock Wright challenged the team.
“We’re so excited to hit the ground running,” said Tiffany. “Brock challenged us to hit $1 million in revenue within 12 months. He doesn’t believe we can hit it, so we’re looking forward to proving him wrong.”
And that they did.
Somerset not only exceeded the $1 million mark, but they did it in 11 months while also improving NOI $198k.
Congratulations to the team at Somerset, under the leadership of Sal:
- Tiffany Montoya, partner and senior director
- Nina Galbraith, sales lead
- Camille Rivera, sales associate
- Josh Gunn, sales associate
- Jacob Hausfeld, lead tech
- Derrick Wolbert, turn tech
