Lead sales associate Tanja Carter called it an amazing, unforgettable moment. She walked into the Central Support Office with her Stonebridge team earlier this month, recognized on the red carpet for helping successfully sell Stonebridge Village.
The $131 million deal brought Tanja to the CSO for her very first sale-a-bration.
“It was the best feeling I’ve had in a long time. This is literally the best company I’ve ever worked for, and the sale-a-bration was such a confidence booster,” Tanja said.
Tanja and the Stonebridge team certainly earned it. Over the last 12 months, they turned the property around, driving more than $94,000 in rent roll growth – more than the first six years of ownership combined. Average re-rents skyrocketed from $49 in October 2021 to $266 in December 2022.
As a result, we increased the value of Stonebridge by $26 million in six years.
“The reason we had tremendous success was not because we came up with some crazy strategy,” partner and regional head Brad Dykes said. “It comes down to the people.”

Under the leadership of partner Michelle Murphy, sales manager Joseph Bangert and operations manager Jenein Sous, we improved net operating income by $3.6 million and increased other income by $3.6 million – no easy feat at arguably one of the most difficult properties in our portfolio to operate.
As part of the sale-a-bration, Brad revealed a special R&R gift for Tanja in the atrium, a designer Louis Vuitton handbag for her stellar performance.
“The fact that he remembered that was amazing to me,” Tanja said. “He made that bet nearly three years ago. I wasn’t expecting it.”
Now, as Tanja and the team disperse to new assignments and new markets, they’re laser-focused on achieving the next goal.
