We’ve done it again…

For the second time in five years, The Dayton Business Journal named The Connor Group a 2021 Best Place to Work. As partner and CEO Bob Lloyd mentioned in our July associate broadcast, our company was nominated based on direct feedback from our associates. The honor is a testament to the strong culture we’ve built over the company’s nearly 30-year history.

“The culture at The Connor Group is second-to-none. We offer our associates best-in-class benefits, including an incredible 401(k) match, 100 percent paid health premiums after three years and generous paid-time-off,” Bob said.

Partner and executive recruiter Zach Rainwater attended the Dayton Business Journal outing earlier this week, celebrating this recognition.

“Our people have and always will be our number one key to success. It was cool to be recognized by the Dayton Business Journal as a Best Place to Work. Our culture is one of a kind, and there truly isn’t a better place to work in the entire world,” Zach said.

Our culture rewards associates who regularly meet or exceed expectations. Just last month, we paid out more than $1 million in bonuses to our property managers nationwide.

“This year, we’ve increased bonus opportunities for our top-performers and distributed more than $1 million in bonuses based on results from January – June,” Bob said. “It’s all part of living our core value People Count and rewarding and recognizing elite performers.”

Our partnership program also sets the company apart. Anyone in the company can earn partner. It’s a group that includes service techs, property managers, sales associates, trainers and even groundskeepers.

Associates across multiple departments joined Zach at the celebration Tuesday, including training department coordinator Tina DeAlderete, recruiters Madi Prether, Rita Johnson and Kevin Pierce, transaction lead Emily Lazar and cap-ex project manager Dustin Myers.

“It was a great experience,” Dustin said. “The camaraderie was incredible, and I was able to spend time with associates I don’t necessarily work with on a day-to-day basis. It was an honor to represent the company and to be recognized as an elite organization. The Connor Group truly is a great place to work.”
